History

Our school was founded in the fall of 1994. It was the 4th Montessori magnet school in Cincinnati Public Schools. We are currently (as of 2003/04) at our new location, leaving the Winton Terrace site after 8 successful years.

There is one Montessori public high school - Clark Montessori, grade 7 - 12. There are about 400 students in our school, ages 3 - 12. We have four 3 - 6 age classrooms. We have seven 6 - 9 age classrooms. We have five 9 - 12 age classrooms. We have two special needs classrooms that filter students into regular classrooms and 1 self-contained special needs classroom.

We have teacher assistants in every classroom. We have a Clinical Psychologist with us four days a week. Our children are served by three specialists - Music, Physical Education and Fine Arts.
